How we serve
We recognize the family as a vital partner and build support around its strengths, needs, and routines.
We see the abilities, potential, and dignity of every child, young adult, and caregiver.
We center thoughtful planning, clear communication, and responsible service delivery.
We lead with patience, empathy, and care.
We work alongside families, providers, and referring professionals.
We honor each person’s dignity, culture, voice, and preferences.
We value dependable practice, documentation, and follow-through.
We provide support in homes and communities whenever possible.
Contracted ARCS provider
Through Autism Respite Care Services (ARCS), we provide specialized in-home respite and behavioral support for eligible children and young adults with autism.
Atlanta Youth Services is an independent community-based organization contracted by the Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children Services, to provide ARCS services. We work collaboratively with caregivers, child welfare professionals, and community partners to reduce caregiver burnout, strengthen placement stability, and support safety and well-being.
Refer a Child for ARCS Services →Our role in ARCS
ARCS is a Georgia DHS and DFCS initiative. Atlanta Youth Services did not create or own the statewide initiative.
DHS and DFCS establish program requirements and contractual expectations. As an independent community-based organization, AYS coordinates referrals, matches families with providers, and delivers contracted ARCS services within its approved service area.
Leadership
Jessica provides clinical and organizational leadership for Atlanta Youth Services, supporting family-centered practice, provider quality, community relationships, and the delivery of contracted ARCS services.
