Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans and provide direct therapy to children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with children and a commitment to improving their lives through evidence-based practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.

  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to children in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.

  • Collect and record data on the child’s progress and behaviors.

  • Assist in conducting functional behavior assessments.

  • Communicate regularly with the BCBA and other team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

  • Support parents and caregivers by providing guidance and demonstrating techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

 

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.

  • Experience working with children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
