Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The LPC will provide therapeutic services to children and families, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer counseling and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, early intervention, and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.

  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

  • Offer consultation and support to parents and caregivers.

  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of counseling and mental health.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and standards set by the American Counseling Association (ACA).

 

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and families.

  • Strong knowledge of mental health principles and therapeutic techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
