Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. The Behavior Intervention Specialist will work with teens experiencing behavioral challenges, providing wraparound services to support their development and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior management, juvenile justice, and a commitment to improving the lives of at-risk youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for teens with behavior concerns.

  • Provide direct support and intervention in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.

  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each teen.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, therapists, and educators, to provide comprehensive wraparound services.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure progress.

  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, intervention plans, and progress reports.

  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and standards set by relevant professional bodies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience working with at-risk youth and teens with behavioral concerns, preferably within the juvenile justice system.

  • Strong knowledge of behavior management principles and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
